Smart Communications has introduced its All-New Postpaid Plans+ with Unli Apps, offering subscribers unlimited access to selected apps based on their lifestyle. The new offering centers on Unlimited App access, allowing users to use selected apps without consuming their regular data allocation. This is Globe Telecom's response to Smart's Unlimited Prepaid Blackberry Plans. Subscribers can get unlimited BlackBerry service on their BlackBerry smartphones with new prepaid service plans for daily, weekly or monthly rates. The new prepaid BlackBerry service plans provide unlimited access to (push) email including Yahoo! To activate the prepaid BlackBerry service plans and experience unlimited BlackBerry service all day just text BB ON and send to 8888 (e.g. Smart has reduced it's SmartBro Plug-It Postpaid plans to just Php999 a month of unlimited 3G internet; down from Php1,500 a month in October 2008. I was thinking if they had to cap the speed (like what Sun Cellular does with their tiered unlimited plans), it shouldn't be anywhere below 1Mbps.
