Konami has announced at Gamescom 2016 their upcoming game and the latest in the Metal Gear franchise - Metal Gear Survive. Metal Gear Survive is Konami's first Metal Gear game without Hideo Kojima. The story takes place after the events of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Like MGSV, it will be powered by FOX Engine. Metal Gear Survive will arrive for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC in 2017. Konami, the world-renowned game publisher behind the successful Metal Gear franchise and other popular titles, has announced that both the Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain and MGSV: Ground Zeroes will be released on Steam. Though this is not the first time that one of the series of Metal Gear Solid was available for PC, this is a first for Konami to release the main title/s on Steam’s online store.
