The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium which launched in the country a couple of months ago along with the Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact, is now available for purchase. Premium Lite subscribers will continue to have access to PiP for the same type of content. Meanwhile, full Premium members will retain PiP support for both music and non-music videos. Spotify has added a new Fitness hub with video workouts that Premium users can watch on phones, computers, and TVs. New features for YouTube Premium Lite include the ability to play videos in the background and download most of them for offline viewing. The plan, relaunched in March 2025, previously focused on offering “most videos” ad-free but lacked the extra perks found in the full Premium tier. Premium Lite subscribers will gain the ability to watch videos through other applications and to save content for offline use after the upcoming update becomes available in the next few weeks.
