Meta has released an official WhatsApp app for compatible Garmin smartwatches. Users can also accept or decline incoming WhatsApp calls from their smartwatch. An official version for the Apple Watch was released previously, replacing the earlier reliance on mirrored notifications for message replies. Telegram has released a fully native Apple Watch app, bringing messaging and media features directly to watchOS users. People can send and receive text and voice notes, view GIFs and videos, share their location, and mess around with stickers right from their Apple Watch.
