It is similar to Facebook's reactions - long-press on a message and selects the emoji that you feel you want to react with. Although, WhatsApp has hinted at adding support for more emojis and skin tones in the future. Additionally, WhatsApp users are now eligible to share larger files on WhatsApp as the threshold has been increased from 100MB to 2GB.
