Quite a number of users have already been using their new uMobile SIMs too (7.19%) while fledgling Sun Cellular 3G is still down there. Surprisingly, very few people are using PLDT WeRoam -- a service which has practically been supplanted by SmartBro Mobile 3G. uMobile on the other hand, though an autonomous telco is still considered a Smart/PLDT property and their free ad-supported 3G services will certainly bump up their total numbers. The outage started on the evening of June 14, when many BPI customers reported being unable to access the bank's mobile app and online banking platform. Founded in 2015, Mynt operates GCash, which traces its roots to a mobile money remittance service launched in 2004.
