Grok, the AI chatbot of social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), now has its older Grok 2.5 model as an open source site. Grok's model has been uploaded in Hugging Face for users to try, download, and even slightly adjust for themselves. https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1959379349322313920 Elon Musk, Executive Chairman and Chief Technology Officer of X, posted that Grok 3 will be ready in about six months which is around the first quarter of 2026. Elon Musk’s xAI has unveiled Grokipedia v0.1, an open-source encyclopedia powered entirely by AI. Built on xAI’s Grok language model, the platform automatically generates and updates factual entries, no community editors needed. Dubbed a “better Wikipedia” by Musk, Grokipedia already hosts over 885,000 articles. Its clean layout focuses on speed and clarity, with users submitting edits through Grok instead of manual revisions. Unlike Wikipedia’s open system, Grokipedia runs fully on AI oversight for accuracy and neutrality.
