Microsoft announced that its next Xbox Developer_Direct broadcast will occur on January 22. Xbox Developer_Direct is where video games showcase new gameplay and updates on major titles launching this 2026. The presentation marks the fourth installment of Developer_Direct and will be part of Xbox’s 25th anniversary celebrations. Xbox will also spotlight Beast of Reincarnation from Game Freak. Xbox Developer_Direct will stream on January 22 at 10 AM Pacific, 1 PM Eastern, and 6 PM UK time. After almost a month of constant negative feedback from the gaming community, Microsoft finally caves in and makes some changes in the Xbox One's Digital Rights Management (DRM) policy and internet connectivity requirements. Here are the major changes to the Xbox One: An internet connection will not be required to play offline Xbox One games – After a one-time system set-up with a new Xbox One, you can play any disc based game without ever connecting online again. There is no 24 hour connection requirement and you can take your Xbox One anywhere you want and play your games, just like on Xbox 360.
