On another note, while both smartphones use AMOLED, the 15T uses LTPS compared to the LTPO on the 17T. This means that the 17T can dynamically adjust the refresh rate down to 1Hz while the 15T can only do steps of 30Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz or 120Hz. Another improvement made on the Xiaomi 17T is the chipset.
