Yesterday, the questions were finally put to rest as the MVP-owned telco has announced that the Xiaomi Mi 4i will come free of charge if you subscribe to Smart Surf Plus Plan 999. On top of that, if you’re one of the first 50 subscribers who got the handset from Smart’s Online Store, the telco will throw in a free 10,400mAh Xiaomi power bank to further sweeten the deal. If you don’t want to be tied to a postpaid contract, you can also get a Xiaomi Mi 4i for Php9,799 from Lazada starting on July 29 or from authorized local retailers starting next month. By going down this route, you’ll get a free Smart prepaid LTE SIM card which has a free 50MB of data allocation and up to Php150 prepaid load rebate for the first six months.
