Along with the launch of the latest Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 in the country, Xiaomi Philippines also unveiled two IoT products: the Mi Smart Clock and the Mi Smart Standing Fan 2. With its built-in Google Assistant and Chromecast, it doubles as an entertainment hub and controller of other connected smart home devices, allowing voice control of different Mi smart devices. Users may customize and control other connected devices to the Mi Smart Clock as a smart home device through the dedicated Mi Home App. It is a new cloud storage service that lets users back up photos, videos and other files while freeing up storage space on their devices. The service includes automatic backup, file access across multiple devices, photo albums, a PIN or biometric-protected Private Folder and AI-powered photo editing tools. The service is available through the GlobeOne app and can initially be accessed on Android devices through the Globe Cloud app or a web browser. Popular Chinese consumer electronics company, Xiaomi, has announced that it is set to introduce its products to ten new markets, including the Philippines, this 2014. The decision will surely help boost Xiaomi's sales outside China with a goal of 100 million phones in 2015.
