#XMAGE technology

Huawei is now using a new mobile camera image technology called Huawei XMAGE after the brand's breakup with Leica. XMAGE will be focusing on 3 fields such as optical system, imaging technology, and image processing. In terms of Image technology, it has YYB super-sensitive sensor, full-pixel octa-core focusing, 10-channel multispectral sensor, hyperspectral imaging, and many more. We may see the XMAGE in action soon thanks to the next generation of flagship phones of Huawei, the Huawei Mate 50 series which is reported to be featuring the XMAGE imaging technology. There is also Deep Track 5.0 AI subject tracking, PureVideo low-light technology and a detachable 2-inch OLED touchscreen for remote monitoring and control. Sony has announced the Lytia 910, its first image sensor to use LOFIC technology, offering up to 100dB of dynamic range from a single exposure. Instead of relying on multiple exposures to create HDR images, the technology stores excess light in a capacitor next to each pixel, helping prevent overexposure while preserving more detail.
