#Xperia Z5 family

Good news for those who own older Xperia devices as Sony has started to roll out the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update. If you have an Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact, or an Xperia Z5 Premium, you can expect a notification for an update to the latest version of Android anytime soon. The screenshot below is from an Xperia Z5 Dual handset with a security patch for June 2017. Not only the Xperia Z5 family is reported to receive the new software as the update for Xperia Z3+ and Xperia Z4 Tablet is also live. In an email by Sony Ericsson today, the new Sony Ericsson XPeria X1 phone will be coming out to the public tomorrow in stores but people who made early reservations are supposed to get their own units today.
