YouTube has a new search bar called Ask YouTube. It is a new AI-powered search feature using more natural, conversational questions. Ask YouTube then scans their platform’s full catalog including regular videos and YouTube Shorts. The feature is currently available to YouTube Premium members aged 18 and above in the United States through youtube.com/new. The brand states that it plans to expand Ask YouTube to all users in the future. Alongside the new search experience, YouTube is also rolling out Gemini Omni to Shorts Remix and the YouTube Create app. These can be verified through the Gemini app, Gemini in Chrome and Google Search. It is also becoming available for free in YouTube Shorts and the YouTube Create app starting this week.
