#YouTube browsing update

YouTube has updated its desktop site so it now remembers how users sort videos on a channel. Before the update, YouTube always returned to the Latest option on desktop. With the update, YouTube now remembers the sorting option a user picked earlier. The update fixes a long-time user interface issue that some viewers found inconvenient when browsing a creator’s content. The update is expected to introduce a multi-window browsing feature, allowing users to open and view multiple websites at the same time. YouTube has announced new updates aimed at making the platform safer and more balanced for teen viewers, while giving parents better control. One of the biggest updates is for YouTube Shorts.
