YouTube has started rolling out more visible labels for AI-generated and AI-edited videos as part of its push for better transparency on the platform. Starting today, videos uploaded to YouTube that are significantly changed or created using AI tools will now show a more noticeable label. For Shorts, the label will appear directly on the video as an overlay. If creators believe their videos were incorrectly labeled, they can update the disclosure settings through YouTube Studio.
