ZTE’s first foldable phone, the nubia Flip 5G took center stage at its global debut in MWC Barcelona. It’s in a ‘flip’ form factor and features a dual-rail suspended hinge that’s able to withstand over 200,000 unfolds, as ZTE claims. However, the nubia Flip 5G’s global pricing is significantly higher than the current sale of its Japan version, starting at USD 599. The ZTE Libero Flip costs only USD 420 (~PHP 23.5K) and is claimed to go as low as USD 265 (~PHP 14.8K). The nubia Flip 5G is also pricier than the currently most affordable foldable in the country, the TECNO Phantom V Flip 5G which had an intro price of PHP 23,999. Along with the nubia Fold, the brand has also announced the nubia Flip3. The nubia Flip3 comes with a 6.9-inch Full HD+ inner display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 4-inch AMOLED cover display.
