Globe Telecom is now offering their home broadband service with a lot of freebies. This includes free NDD calls (Globe landline to Globe landline) nationwide and free calls to Globe & TM mobile numbers with plans starting at Php1,299.
All new Globe Broadband subscribers will get these new freebies — unlimited calls to all Globe Postpaid, Globe Prepaid and TM numbers.
The basic DSL plan is Php1,299 a month for a 2Mbps line while a 5Mbps plan has a monthly service fee of Php2,999.
If you are an existing Globe Broadband subscriber, you can get these freebies by merely extending your contract for another 6 months or add Php99/month if you need it just on a month per month basis.
There is definately a great deal to find out about this issue.
I love all of the points you have made.
@sam : ok ang DSL pre kasi di nman signal-based ang connection. Wired ang DSL at kung ano ang bandwidth na allocated sa plan mo, ung ang speed mo at di nagbabago un.. as in fixed!!
so perday ang limit nila? example naka gamit ako ng 5gb ngayon tapos bukas ulit pwd nanaman 5gb? d ba ako ma pepenalty? basta di ko ba ma exceed ang 5gb for day? thanks sa reply
I’m san juan kalentong. thinking to get plan1299. may cap ba? how’s the landline? how’s d speed. can somebody help me tnx
guys help. near puregold pritil ako, raxabago st. tondo manila. ok po ba ung globe wimax dito sa area nmin? im planning to subscribe for plan 1299 @ 2Mbps.
does it also apply to the P 1099 @ 1mbps plan?
Upon reading the FAQ, up to 6 months free lang pag existing sub. After that may bayad na. Piste.
Free calls from Globe landline to Globe mobile numbers nationwide? Applicable ba ito sa existing 1299 subs?
This service sucks at times. Morning usage is great. Plan 1299 with 2mbs boosts up to 3mbs. But some of the sites are blocked by Globe. And sometimes when you go to a page it won’t load because the connection to the server was interrupted. When the clock strikes 5 or 6 pm hell happens. The speed drops to 512kbps. Maybe this is because of line congestion. Since it’s night a lot of people are using the service, giving a lot of traffic to their service. Also I would like to add that after a month of service their modem router died on me. The good thing about globe is that when you call and ask for their help the are always willing to answer and the are punctual to their appointment.

May capping po ang 5mbps pababa na residential plans ng Globe DSL
Thanks for the info. If that’s the case, then the capping maybe per day since every morning i get the same speed.

@LA
yep daily ang capping nya @ 5GB
@coolJade
Tapos pati ung landline madalas di matwagan at di makatwag!
No limits?
