Huawei MateView, MateView GT now official

Huawei has recently unveiled its latest displays— the Huawei MateView and MateView GT.

The Huawei MateView sports a 28.2-inch 4K (3840 x 2560) ultra-HD display with a 60Hz refresh rate. It covers 100% sRGB and 90% DCI-P3 color gamut and has a peak brightness of 500 nits. In addition, it comes with VESA Display HDR 400 certification and TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free certification.

Additionally, it features a Smart Bar to control MateView functions and settings. It can connect various devices and accessories via USB-C, 2 x USB-A, HDMI, and MiniDP interfaces.

The display supports theatre-level sound with independent DSP calibration, dual speakers, and dual microphones for audio.

On the other hand, the Huawei MateView GT is a gaming monitor that boasts a curved 1500R 34-inch WQHD (3440 x 1440) panel with a 165Hz refresh rate. The display features a 21:9 aspect ratio and a 4000:1 contrast ratio. Moreover, it also secures a TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free certification.

The Huawei MateView GT is equipped with a dual 5W speaker soundbar built into the monitor’s base. The soundbar comes with touch volume control, lighting effects, and 360-degrees dual-mic system.

What’s more, the gaming monitor also comes with a multi-functional USB Type-C port for data transfers, 8K video, and PD charging. Plus, it also has access to HDMI, DisplayPort, and a 3.5 mm audio combo jack.

The display also supports the ‘Dark Field Control’ feature that lets users adjust the display brightness and has a five-way joystick to alter other display parameters.

The Huawei MateView is priced at CNY 4,699 for the wireless cast screen and CNY 3,999 for the wired cast screen version. However, the MateView GT gaming monitor is priced at CNY 3,599. The former will be available by June 15, while the latter will arrive on June 4 in China.
