Acer has extended its lead as the Philippines’ top laptop brand. This marks 20 consecutive years at the top of the local market from 2006 to 2025.

According to Nielsen-GfK data covering the first five months of 2026, Acer held a 37% market share in the consumer laptop segment and a 34.5% share in gaming laptops. It maintains its position as the Philippines’ leading laptop brand.
The company also recorded its highest-ever consumer laptop market share in 2025 at 37.3% driven by strong demand for both its mainstream and gaming products.

“These achievements are deeply meaningful to us as we celebrate Acer’s 50th anniversary,” said Sue Ong-Lim, Managing Director of Acer Philippines. “They reflect our strong commitment to our mission of breaking barriers between people and technology, one that has guided our innovations for five decades.”
Beyond laptops, Acer highlighted initiatives such as Acer Day, the Asia Pacific Predator League and the Acer Edu Summit. It is part of the brand’s efforts to strengthen its presence in gaming, education and youth communities in the country.
