Apple Pencil (USB-C) announced, priced in the Philippines

Apple has announced their latest Apple Pencil and this time, it charges with a USB-C cable.

“Apple Pencil has revolutionized note taking, sketching, and illustrating, unleashing endless possibilities for productivity and creativity,” said Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing Bob Borchers. “Combined with the versatility of iPad, the new Apple Pencil unlocks another great option to experience the magic of digital handwriting, annotation, marking up documents, and more.”

The newest Apple Pencil has the same features as its previous variations. It has the ability to magnetically attach to the iPad for storage and can go to a sleep state to save battery.

The USB C-port is hidden behind a sliding cap. This port allows users to plug a USB-C cable to charge and pair the Pencil.
