One would normally need a nurse or doctor to check the blood pressure of a patient. Not any more. This blood pressure monitor by iHealth basiclaly allows any one to check their own BP anywhere, anytime using their smartphone.
The iHealth BP Monitor is a wireless device that allows the user to make digital biometric measurements using an iOS or Android smartphone.
Just download the iHelath app for Android or iOS and connect to the measuring device via Bluetooth. Once the app and the device are connected, strap on the harness on your left arm (make sure that the harness is snugly fit, otherwise it will not work properly).
Press start on the iHealth app and the harness will automatically start, slowly building up pressure into the arm. The app will then show the blood pressure within seconds.
It is best to make 3 to 5 separate but consecutive measurements using the iHealth BP so that you’d get an average reading. It’s very easy to use and the internal battery can be re-charged via the microUSB port.
The iHealth Blood Pressure Monitor retails for Php5,350USD 91INR 7,729EUR 87CNY 664 in stores like Health Express in Glorietta, Rustan’s Shangri-la and Rustan’s Makati.
