First-gen Chromecast now supports Spotify

If you have the first-gen Chromecast and you like Spotify then you’re in luck as you can now stream your favorite tunes to the said device.

The first-gen Chromecast recently received a firmware update that will enable it to support the popular music streaming service. The update is automatically downloaded to the Chromecast and all you need to do is give it a reboot.

You might want to update your Spotify app to the latest version as well to make sure that both device play well together.
