JBL Link Bar, an Android TV-powered soundbar

Google and JBL have introduced a new soundbar that is powered by Android TV with Google Assistant built in – the JBL Link Bar.

The JBL Link Bar looks just like your typical soundbar, however, it is powered by Google’s Android TV with Google Assistant built in. This allows the user to control your TV with your voice, tell it to play specific movies and TV shows, ask it questions, or even control smart home fixtures.

The JBL Link Bar is expected to be demonstrated at Google I/O this week and will be available in the US in fall. Pricing is yet to be announced.
