Lenovo Smart Shoes — cloud-based sports shoes

In addition to the Smart Cast and Magic View devices for the future, Lenovo also introduces its cloud-based Smart Shoes concept.

Lenovo Smart Shoes key features:

• Displays the person’s mood on the screen
• Tracks and analyzes fitness data (heartbeat, caloric consumption)
• Provides maps and directions to places

The company also mentions that this concept “fits into Lenovo’s Internet-of-Things (IoT) cloud strategy to build an ecosystem including open SDK platform, innovation incubator with professionals from different areas, smart devices, supply chains, and powerful back-end cloud infrastructure.”
