Lenovo is full-on with the announcement of their new and upcoming devices as they show off a new concept smartphone with a built-in projector. meet the Smart Cast.

The Smart Cast has the ability to project images unto any surface and transform it into a touch display. This way you can have a bigger real estate to navigate and interact with its interface — you can run specific apps like calculator, drawing, notes, and PowerPoint.

Users can also turn the device into a movie projector, play games on it like Fruit Ninja (get ready to swipe on tables), and video chat projected onto a wall while you muti-task on the smartphone.

    baka kasi sabi na nga sa title eh laser technology … at may “ability to project images unto any surface and transform it into a touch display”.

    di ba may samsung galaxy beam na before, yung may built-in projector? so paano naging una yang sa lenovona ngayon lang in-announce?

      i think samsung gaLaxy beam has a pLain projector Lang .. whereas yang sa Lenovo .. u can now interact with the projected dispLay by touch ..

      yep plain pico projector lang yung sa galaxy beam. this have more functions. the infrared motion detector is sweet!

    Matagal ng napabalita sa ibang brand itong projector keyboard display kaso naunahan sila ng lenovo sa pag develop at maglabas. Ok din naman ang lenovo dahil mura sila mag presyo ng phone.
