ASUS Republic of Gamers has unveiled the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000AI, the world’s first AI-powered WiFi 7 router, blending next-gen wireless performance with built-in intelligence for gaming, streaming, and smart home control.
First teased at CES 2025, the GT-BE19000AI packs a neural processing unit, quad-core CPU, 4GB DDR4 RAM, and 32GB storage, enabling it to handle AI tasks and even run Docker apps like AdGuard, Frigate, or smart home assistants directly from the router, no extra server needed. Its AI Game Boost feature intelligently prioritizes gaming traffic, cutting latency by up to 34%, while WiFi Insight scans and auto-optimizes connections across crowded networks. The router supports tri-band WiFi 7 with speeds up to 19Gbps, plus two 10G and four 2.5G ports for wired setups.
With a thicker aluminum cooling plate, AI-powered network automation, and enterprise-grade AiProtection, ASUS aims to redefine what routers can do. Pricing and global availability are expected soon.
