HUAWEI has officially opened entries for the GoPaint Worldwide Creating Activity 2025, a global digital art competition that invites creators to submit their original works until December 31, 2025.

The competition celebrates digital creativity using HUAWEI’s GoPaint app, a professional painting software available exclusively on HUAWEI MatePad tablets. This year’s edition introduces a new Animation category, allowing artists to create frame-by-frame sequences alongside traditional digital illustrations.

Categories and prizes
Participants aged 18 and above can submit up to 30 artworks under the following categories:

Digital Watercolour & Ink

Animation
-
Sci-Fi Art
-
Cutting-Edge Paintings
-
Narrative Art
All entries must be made using a HUAWEI tablet and submitted in JPG, PNG, or MP4 format through the official contest website. Still images must be under 30 MB at 300 dpi, while animations may reach 400 MB at 1080p resolution.
The competition will recognize 20 Honorable Mentions, each receiving USD 1,000 and an official certificate. Selected artworks may also be featured in HUAWEI press events, art exhibitions, global campaigns, or even appear as HUAWEI Themes wallpapers or merchandise.
Judging panel
Entries will be reviewed by a panel of international judges, including:

Submission details
Artists can submit their works and view full contest rules through the official GoPaint 2025 website. Submissions close on December 31, 2025.
