Xiaomi announces Mi Router HD

Along with the Mi MIX White and new Mi TV 4, Xiaomi has announced a wireless router with built-in surveillance-class hard drive of up to 8TB – the Mi Router HD.

The Mi Router HD does more than just provide you with wireless internet connection thanks to its built-in hard drive. From there you can use it to back up your phone gallery, digital camera, and laptop. It even supports syncing with Dropbox, Sonos local music playback, and remote access.

Xiaomi Mi Router HD features:
* 4×4 multi-user MIMO router, supports up to 2600 Mbps transfer speeds
* 4 high-gain PCB array antennas
* Built-in surveillance-class hard drive of up to 8TB
* Automatically back up all your devices, supports Time Machine
* Automatically syncs with Dropbox
* Integrates with Sonos audio system

The Mi Router HD will launch in China in Q1 for under $200 for the 1TB model, and under $500 for the 8TB variant.
