Solid Group Inc., the parent company of MyPhone, has announced a new brand called Brown and Proud.
First off, Brown and Proud will sell devices including smartphones and tablets just like MyPhone. To entice people, they have introduced multi-level marketing to their business model. You can sign up and become a member, refer people, and then earn rewards as you build your “Brown Tree”.
As for their devices, they currently have three in the list with the first one already available — the Brown 1. It’s a 4.7-inch HD smartphone with typical 2017 budget phone specs like a quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 4G LTE, and Android Nougat. It’ll sell for Php9,500 which is pretty steep for what it offers.
Then coming this August are top-tier smartphone and tablet dubbed as the Brown 2 and Brown Tab 1. Check out their specs below.
Also, according to their presentation, they also plan to pursue IoT or the Internet of Things. They have partnered with multiple tech companies to achieve this milestone but no actual products were shown, yet.
