OPPO announces A92s, priced in China

OPPO is launching another 5G capable smartphone, this time in the mid-range category, the A92s.

OPPO China has officially announced the A92s by posting its product poster on Facebook, showcasing its key specs, renders, and price. According to the post, the OPPO A92s will sport a 6.57-inch IPS display running at 120Hz, with a pill-shaped punch-hole front camera module. It features MediaTek’s Dimensity 800 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1.

Taking a look at the rear reveals a quad-camera setup housed in a square-shaped module. Digital Chat Station on Weibo has leaked the setup specs to consist of a 48MP primary camera, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor.   Meanwhile, biometrics is handled by the side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The OPPO A92s is priced at CNY 2,499 or around PHP 18,000. Stay tuned for updates on local pricing and availability.
