Just 5 days after the new 10″ Acer Aspire One has been formally announced, the new model is ready for pre-oder with a suggested retail price of Php25,995.

1.0GB RAM (512MB built-in + 512MB Module additional)
320GB SATA HDD
SDHC card reader
Acer CrystalEye Webcam
10/100Mbps LAN port
Multitouch touchpad

3G built-in (optional)

Pre-order price: Php25,995

100 units of the Acer Aspire 103 will be available by March 15, 2009 at PCCorner.

This model looks like a good bargain (including the 3G module) and you can always swap that extra 512MB stick with a 1GB or 2GB one for better performance. With all that, I think you still end up with a powerful netbook under Php30k.

I’m still waiting for the pricing of the HP Mini 2140 — same keyboard and casing specs as with the 2133, but with 10″ screen.

These netbooks become more powerful and useful each time a new model comes out.

Let me get my hands on one if I get the chance, I have only have hands-on experience with the first gen eeepc.

I so love its specs. But I just bought myself a notebook this month – the HP Mini 1001TU – and so far, I’m loving it. Panglakwatsa ko lang naman kasi. Hehe. :)

Quick question: How do you request to add the 3G module here, or in any new laptop purchase?

With that price, can we not buy a good laptop and not a netbook?

with 25K-30K, I can already buy a dual core laptop with a dvd drive and a decent graphic card to boot.

Looks nice, but will it run OSX as easily as a MSI Wind? I love my little Hackintosh Wind, but the touchpad is terrible.

i hope acer will improve its build quality. i had an acer before whose hinge got broken when it slammed in a car door. the the laptop is inside on a well-cushioned laptop bag.

@bob reyes: you forgot to mention that the new hp will now sport intel atom.

Does anyone know if the screen is glossy or matte? The D150 was matte, and a PAIN to use outdoors…

Can the 3G module be added later on? Is it a DIY thingy? or need to be bought back to retailers like PC Corner? or it has to be pre-installed by the retailer.
