Just 5 days after the new 10" Acer Aspire One has been formally announced, the new model is ready for pre-oder with a suggested retail price of Php25,995. Fans of the Acer Aspire One will be glad to know there's an upcoming 10.1-inch netbook (although we can't say when Acer will officially announce it). Photos from macles* indicate a new Aspire One with a 10.1" display screen, an update to the first generation 8.9". Based on the photos, looks like Acer has also fixed that awkwardly positioned trackpad buttons. That's something that actually turned me off the first time I saw the Aspire One. The Acer Aspire One was introduced during the Computex at Taipei, Taiwan yesterday. Acer has just released a special edition of the Acer Aspire Vero, the National Geographic Edition. The Acer Aspire Vero National Geographic Edition builds on this design by also using 30% PCR in the laptops screen bezel and 50% in its keycaps, further reducing the laptop’s footprint.
