The Flash Plus 2 will be announced in a global event tomorrow at around 4PM (Manila Time). It’s the successor to the popular Alcatel Flash Plus that disrupted the local market last year.
This time, it looks like the Flash Plus 2 will be a huge hit if we look at the hardware specs that’s supposed to run on the device.
Based on the teaser video, the Flash Plus 2 will have a full-metal unibody construction with a 5.5-inch full HD display. It will be powered by a Mediatek Helio P10 chip (also known as MT6755) with an ARM Mali-T860 GPU.
There are two variants — a 2GB RAM with 16GB storage and a 3GB with 32GB storage in either gold or silver colors.
The rest of the specs include 4G/LTE dual-SIM, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3,000mAh Li-Ion battery.
The rear camera has a 13MP sensor with a single LED flash while the front camera has a 5MP sensor with a LED flash as well.
Of course, as the teaser revealed, there’s a fingerprint sensor.
The Flash Plus 2 will come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
As for the price, it’s not definite yet but we’re looking at Php6,995 for the 2GB/16GB and Php8,495 for the 3GB/32GB variants (give or take Php500).

so, how much is it?
