LG Philippines silently released a new variant in their Optimus Android series of smartphones in the local market. Announced last September 14, the LG Optimus One is now available in stores with a suggested retail price of Php12,990.
The Optimus One is among the very few handsets to have Froyo 2.2 pre-installed straight out of the box.

If you think the Php12,990 is not that very attractive, how about a 50% discount to bring it down to just Php6,495? The blast off sale will happen on November 13 and will be offered in all LG Concept Stores in the malls (SM Megamall, SM North EDSA Annex, SM Cebu, and Gaisano Davao).
Here’s the catch — this one-day sale will also happen in just a one-hour window so you need to be there when the clock strikes on top of the hour. Will post more details when I get more info from LG Philippines.
Update: Just confirmed that the sale will happen between 2:00 – 3:00 PM on November 13, 2010.

i just got an htc legend 2 days ago then i see this. the difference between the two is the amoled screen of the htc vs the tft screen of this one as well as the camera (3.15mp for this, 5mp for legend). but aside from that, almost the same specs! and it comes with froyo too! very tempting.

Whoa! buti na lang nakita ko toh hehe been planning to buy my first android phone. 15 k lang budget ko kya samsung spica and htc wildfire pinagpipilian ko. i’ve decided i’ll go for the htc wildfire. pero now i changed my mind, eto na lang bibilhin ko hehe yung matitira sa 15k ko dadagdagan ko na lang pambili ng iPod touch 4g 8gb. thanx for the info sir yuga!
