Saw the x10 demo unit @ the north edsa shop… This sales lady had it hanging around her neck. Saw a Vivaz in Trinoma, it looked really beat up already and the video recording did not work…

Looked for it over the weekend but no luck.. doesn’t sound like its actually released here as yet. Your right… sales people had no clue.. kept saying “no but.. we have x2!?” If anyone see it, post it here! like to check it out.

Same here… Most of the sales people were even clueless about it except for one who said they were expecting it but deliveries have not arrived. She had a white demo unit… I played with it, wanted to run away with it…

Sony-Ericsson says the software will be updated when it’s officially released (or released again) in the second quarter.

I waited so long for this. But theres just so many android phones being released now. Im confused. Will i be able to upgrade the OS later? Yuga which of these android phones should I buy??? im an SE fan but i find that samsung galaxy a little good looking than x10. Any suggestion?

Too expensive for an “outdated” Android phone. Specs looks nice though. If it were running 2.1, that would be better. However, I find the interface, though “cool” looking with all those 3D effects, kinda distracting. IMO, it isn’t functional in actual use. Kinda distracting in most cases. With such effects often used, it really raises the possibility of it becoming sluggish over time, I assume. Nice try though.

nice specs, 1 day lang pala ang pagitan ng release nito worldwide.

I will not get this, but instead I will get for Sat**. Android 1.6 is not a big big choice for me and only the UXP are just the temptations.

32k with Android Donut? Oh comon..I can’t just afford it now. ;D

I’m really not convinced. Sony Ericsson has continued to fail the market for at least 2 or 3 years now.

Also, why stick with an old version of an open source operating system? They got stuck with Symbian UIQ before and now this? They really need to up their capability to catch up with OS’s.

What do they intend to say when Samsung Galaxy S comes out with it’s more updated Android OS, significantly superior hardware, and better SDK support?

  16. Avatar for Abe Olandres Abe Olandres says:

@migs – yup, the first Xperia X1 was about Php42,000 when it came out. Possible that Android saved a couple thousand from WinMo, plus re-adjusted due to price points from other competing handsets.

  17. Avatar for Carlo Carlo says:

Remember the times when those specs were found on desktops? ahh mobile phones have come a long way

  18. Avatar for Miguel Miguel says:

If I recall correctly, previous Xperias and high-end SE phones costed more — so is Android bringing the prices down?

  19. Avatar for Paul Paul says:

Looking at the other demo videos on the internet, the interface is _very_ jerky. Especially when it tries to load the updates from facebook, twitter, etc into its 3D-esque status viewer.

    Great idea, not-so-great implementation.

wow same introductory price ng satio. Sana hinintay q to kasi nakabili na me ng satio. But I’m so disappointed on my satio. Overpromise and underdeliver ang satio. Hintayin q muna feedback ng mga tao qng musta performance ng experia x10. Astig kasi ang features niya.
