Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones w/ spatial audio surface online

Bose has just revealed their latest upcoming pair of headphones with the new Bose QuietComfort 33 Ultra.

The report comes exclusively from The Verge where Bose shared the overall design and some features of the new Bose QuietComfort Ultra.

The photos reveal the new addition of a slim dedicated volume slider on the right earcup and the design itself is reminiscent of a more premium pair of Bose QuietComfort 45 with the ability to be able to fold down unlike the Bose Noise Canceling Headphones 700.

The Verge also confirmed that Bose will now include a new Immersive Audio mode to give spatial audio and add depth. It will also have two options, still and motion, with the latter suited for when one is moving around.

This will also be a third mode added on top of their Quiet/Noise Cancellation and Aware/Transparency modes. Likewise, they will also feature their ActiveSense feature when in transparency mode to adjust the level of noise cancellation based on your surroundings.

Inside the box, it will come with a 2.5mm to 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C to USB-A charging cable.

Other rumors have said that the headphones will feature automatic pausing when removed and resume playback once put back on and it’s said to be Snapdragon Sound certified for support of higher quality Bluetooth codecs.

Other details such as battery life, sound quality, release date, and price have not been made by Bose until its official announcement.
