Along with the new Google Pixel smartphones, Google has also announced a new VR headset called Daydream View.
Google Daydream View is the kind of VR headset that works with your VR-ready smartphone like the Pixel. Unlike most plasticky VR headsets in the market, the DayDream View features soft, breathable fabric for its exterior. It even has a removable and hand-washable facepad.
The VR headset comes with the Daydream controller which allows you to interact with your virtual environment. It sports sensors for tracking and movement so you can swipe, swing, or throw. There’s a volume rocker built-in as well.
The Google Daydream View will arrive in the US in November for $79 and comes in three colors – Slate, Snow, and Crimson.
