vivo Y21T

The realme 9 Pro is priced at PHP 16,990 (8GB+128GB) and it’s a nice smartphone with an attractive design, a large display, great cameras, excellent performance, good battery life, and fast charging. It provides a huge leap in performance compared to the realme 8 Pro thanks to the newer CPU and the inclusion of 5G. It faces a lot of competition, though, considering there are other devices in the market that also has 5G, has an AMOLED screen and bigger storage in the same price range. But if you like the realme vibe, this one is a performer.

The OPPO Reno7 5G is a solid contender in the mid-range space, but is it any better than most of its competitors? It sure is, since the OPPO Reno7 packs a nice display, decent cameras, and one of the highlights is the 65W fast charging capability, with all of that, still we have to consider the price. At the price of PHP 26,999, OPPO should really place this well-below PHP 20K to be really competitive.

OPPO A76

At Php11,999, the OPPO A76 seems to be a downgrade from its predecessor, the OPPO A74, with the latter’s AMOLED display, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and better cameras in general. However, if you don’t care about those features, this phone gives you a better processor, a stylish design, and faster charging thanks to its superVOOC charging support.

POCO M4 Pro (4G)

The POCO M4 Pro will make you ponder between 5G connectivity or a better display. The AMOLED display upgrade is neat, considering the starting of Php12,990 for the base model. The device would be great for media consumption, and scrolling through your social apps feel seamless through a higher screen refresh rate. The Helio G96 CPU is considerably on par with Dimensity 810 and should handle your productivity and entertainment needs at ease, with, of course, gaming on the side. Ultimately, it is indeed a better choice over its older sibling although at the cost of 5G connectivity, and a thousand pesos more.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is a very good 5G ready device. We’ve reviewed a few other phones with “pluses” on their names, yet so far Xiaomi got the assignment right—especially if they price this convincingly well. Most of its features can also be found on its lower variant, the Note 11 Pro 5G, but if you want that super-fast charging, JBL-backed speakers, improved performance, and subjectively slightly better cameras, for something that starts under PHP 20K, then this one might be the phone for you.
