Industry rumors are brewing, pointing towards the release of the Apple MacBook Ultra by next year. It will be accompanied by other new releases within that span of time. Here’s what is known so far.
Firstly, the Apple MacBook Ultra will allegedly shelter the M5 Pro and Max processors.

These will depend on the size buyers select, which could possibly come in 14 and 16-inch configurations. Other likely inclusions are a slimmer profile, OLED display for those vivid colors (a first for Apple!), touch-screen support, the Dynamic Island, and Apple’s next-gen modem.

It is apparently being tested with MacOS 27.1, a software release scheduled for this October.
Apart from the MacBook Ultra, the refreshed Air is also slated for early next year. That could be followed by an overhaul of the entry-level MacBook Pro, and finally a successor to the very popular MacBook Neo.

We haven’t gotten full news yet on what improvements there could be. Pricing could also be higher due to the memory crisis – this was evident in the recent Apple price hikes.
We’ll let you know once we discover more!
