Huami unveils Amazfit T-Rex, Bip S smartwatches

At CES 2020, Huami unveiled two new smartwatches, the Amazfit T-Rex and the Amazfit Bip S.

The Amazfit T-Rex is a rugged smartwatch with a 1.3-inch AMOLED touch screen display that comes protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and an anti-fingerprint coating. Equipped in the T-Rex is a Sony GPS chip, a Huami-developed optical BioTracker PPG heart rate sensor with 24-hour monitoring, sleep monitoring, weather notification, call reminders, event reminders, and more. The smartwatch also boasts a MIL-STD-810G impact resistance, 5ATM water resistance, and a 390mAh battery. Amazfit claims that the T-Rex has a battery life of 66 days in watch mode, 20 days in daily use mode, and 20 hours in continuous GPS activation.

The Amazfit Bip S, on the other hand, is a smartwatch with a 1.28-inch Transflective Color TFT display and equipped with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has an IP68 rating, heart-rate tracking, fitness tracking, 10 sports modes, swim tracking, GPS, and Bluetooth. The Bip S can also be used to receive notifications, weather notifications, alarm clock, connected to a smartphone and control music. It has a cell of 200mAh with a battery life of 40 days in daily use mode, 90 days of standby mode, and 22 hours in continuous GPS mode.
