Mi Smart LED Ceiling Light now available in the Philippines, priced

Xiaomi brings in its biggest smart LED light for homes, the Mi Smart LED Ceiling Light, in the Philippines.

The Mi Smart LED Ceiling Light has a wide coverage of up to 25 sqm, thanks to its 450mm diameter. It has a high color rendering index to make the room brighter. Meanwhile, its cover has an IP50 rating for dust proofing and preventing of accumulation of insects.

Inside, it has high-density light lamp beads arranged for softer and more uniform light distribution and TV backlight technology. Its moonlight mode can go up to 1.5 lumens that allow users to see in the dark without making it too bright. On the other hand, the daylight mode delivers up to 2200 lumens.

The Mi Smart LED Ceiling Light also has an adjustable color temperature ranging from 2700k to 600k, quick and easy installation and removal locks, and can be linked through the Mi Home or Yeelight app.

The Mi Smart LED Ceiling Light is available for PHP 2,795 through the Cutting Edge Store or the Mi Viber Community.

UPDATE: Yesterday, Jan 19, 2021 we bought a new one, Mi Smart LED Ceiling Light at 2,795. The store in Robinsons Place Manila only has display of the old version, but sells only the new version at 2,795. We asked the sales agent if the new version will fit in the old version, they repeatedly assured as that it will fit. We asked for them to show us before buying. They told us that they cannot show us before buying, they can only try it after paying for Version 2. After buying, sure enough it did not fit the old version which they have on display. They told us they cannot refund this to us. Xiaomi store is a SCAM. Please do not buy from them. This is the worst customer service I had in my entire life.

DO NOT BUY THIS. We bought this product around Oct 2019 and it stopped working exactly after 1 year. With the price of 2,995 we taught that the quality would be good and it would last us until at least 5 years. We asked for repair quote and dropped it off in Robinsons Place Manila since it out of warranty already. After over 2 months, they said that we can pick up our product and the motherboard was defective and that they cannot do anything. They cannot even provide me a quotation for the repair, they said they do not repair and just buy a new one. I regret ever buying this product. They cannot even provide a simple quotation. Please do not buy this product as it is in poor quality and no service centers exists in the Philippines that can do repairs for defective products.
