The National Telecommunications Commission ordered PTEs DITO, Globe, and Smart to submit their respective reports on incidents involving failure of registration, inaccessible portal and other concerns regarding the SIM Registration that started yesterday, December 27, 2022.

Globe, DITO and Smart are directed to submit the reports by today, December 28, 2022.

SIM users experienced difficulty registering their numbers yesterday due to multiple downtimes of the registration portals of the telcos. Similar incidents are still being reported until today.

I think this sim card registratration will still be a failure. Because scammers who don’t possess legal acceptable IDs will use and register somebody else’s (friend or relative) id

Ako how many times na nag apply mula 3am until 8 or 9 am noong Dec 27, until now di pa rin nakaregistered kc lagi nalang inuulit ang ID ko, at naglalog ang Smart at Globe. Kailan pa kaya ako makapasok nito, at inaala ko ang GCash bka umaabot sa deadline na di makapasok paanu nlang kaya ito? 😏😏😏😏

Solve your backlogs of our national ID first before creating urgency on this SIM card registration which does not even work, plenty of glitches and tech issues. How do you expect us to trust on this SIM registration when you cannot even solve National ID issuance.

Check the size of your picture sa Smart 5mb size but sa globe 2mb size only.

I’m a foreign tourist that updates my visa every six months have a ACR card and reside in eastern samar I don’t plan on returning to the US I’ll vacation after 3 years for a week a start the 3 year process all over but when you go to register your sim they ask you for a return ticket I won’t never have a return ticket there is alot of expats dueing the same thing the sim card registration should also follow the BI’s policy’s I can stay here for 3 years leave for a week and Re Enter the country and start the whole 3 year process again

Have a centralized or unified SIM registration website regardless of the telco provider. If the final pathway of the subscriber info will be NTC, then they should be the ones handling the SIM registration process. Not the telcos.

Ung dito sim. Done na po sa akin. One time registration ginawa ko. Ok na agad. Pero ang smart mula December 27 hanggang ngayon ay kinakain nila ang oras ko kasi maghapon magdamag try and try ko siya irehistro pero pagdating sa last step ay puro OOPS! YOUR REGISTRATION CANNOT BE PROCESSED AT THIS TIME. TRY AGAIN LATER ang respond. Nakakainis naman. Smart. Pls gawan niyo naman ng paraan para maayos yan.

I registeted my globe sim last night. I was able to complete the process . The Upload/ Take a photo/ and Take a Selfie gave me a hard time but I was able to do it after several trials. Then I submitted then few moments later no feedback instead it said checking for your details and wait for a moment …the wait for a moment last a long time til I felt sleepy ..It even said don’t leave your screen only to find out the globe registration disappear on my screen. Do I need to repeat the process?

Na attempts limit ako sa globe 7 am nangyari kahapon next attempt ko within 24hrs pa uli ako pwde, anong oras na ngayon hindi naman na reset yung attempt limit sa globe.
