Smart Multi SIM brings eSIM support to non-eSIM Android phones

Smart Communications, Inc has introduced the Smart Multi SIM, becoming the first telco in Asia to launch a pluggable eSIM adapter for Android users.

The Smart Multi SIM allows non-eSIM-capable Android devices to store and manage multiple eSIMs, giving users flexibility without the need to buy a new phone.

Available now in Smart Online Store, Smart Stores, and accredited retailers nationwide, the Smart Multi SIM costs Php119. Each kit comes with a mobile number and a welcome bundle that includes 5GB open access data, 100 SMS, and 10 minutes of calls valid for three days.

The service works with the Smart Multi SIM app, which users can download from the Google Play Store. Through the app, subscribers can add and switch between up to five eSIM profiles for personal, business, or travel use.

Smart also highlighted that Multi SIM users can take advantage of services such as the Trave app for more affordable roaming, or KiQ, Smart’s eSIM-based platform that allows customers to customize their data, call, and text allocations with flexible validity periods.
