Tesla has announced a first-party Apple Watch app, included in its annual holiday update set to roll out next week.
The app will allow Apple Watch users to unlock their Tesla vehicles and access other features previously limited to the smartphone app.

Tesla has not disclosed plans to extend support to non-Apple wearables, though third-party apps like DRIVE Electric for Tesla exist for platforms like Wear OS.
These alternatives, however, lack the comprehensive functionality of Tesla’s official app.
The holiday update also brings other enhancements, including viewing and saving Dashcam and Sentry Mode footage directly in the Tesla app, custom Cybertruck wraps and license plates, and setting preferred battery charge levels for specific destinations.
