Sony details process of Android Software Rollout

Sony was kind enough to provide us an infographic on how manufacturers, particularly them, roll out their software updates. So before you go about shaming your phone’s manufacturer for providing slow updates consider checking out how they do it first.

And there you have it, looks simple enough right? Wrong, manufacturers will, of course, hit bumps along the way. Not to mention they also have to consider the device’s hardware before this process even starts. We’d like to thank Sony for outlining this process as at least now we have a better idea of how they do it.
