A portion of the Southbound lane will be closed to make way for concreting works according to NLEX management.
The schedule for the closure is set from 8:00PM tonight to 5:00AM the next day, February 22. To lessen the impact, a counter-flow lane will be set up on the northbound portion for Manila bound travelers. For those heading north expect at least one less lane for drivers to use. According to NLEX this is just part of more upgrading projects along this roadway.
To aid in assisting affected motorists, patrol crews and traffic marshals will be placed along key areas to warn motorists of the upcoming roadwork and help keep the traffic flowing properly.
Motorists are encouraged to plan their trips accordingly.
