Images and details about the Toyota bZ7 have been revealed online. This is the brand’s upcoming all-electric sedan under the GAC-Toyota joint venture in China.

The EV spans 5,130mm long, which is slightly more than the Tesla Model S and the BYD Han L. It features Toyota’s updated hammerhead front end design, similar to the new Camry and Crown.
The EV also has a sleek fastback profile with long side windows, which makes for a spacious cabin look. In addition, the sedan will integrate Xiaomi’s Human x Car x Home smart ecosystem.
This allows users to control smart home appliances directly from the EV’s infotainment system or smartphone. This follows Toyota’s announcement from June, revealing their partnerships with Huawei, Momenta, and Xiaomi.

That said, the EV is set to leverage Huawei’s electric motors and new HarmonyOS-backed cockpit system. Inside, the bZ7 has a minimalistic look with a floating center touchscreen, digital driver display, and wireless charging pad.
On the roof, the EV has a Lidar installed to support Momenta 6.0, their latest smart driving system. This, however, is expected to be offered from higher trim options.

The Toyota bZ7 is expected to officially debut later this year, with prices, battery specs, and range details to follow. This flagship EV will join the bZ3X and bZ4X in China’s competitive electric vehicle market.
