Ford announces all-new Explorer Sport with V6 engine

In addition to the 2015 Ford Escape, the company also announced a refresh of its well-received Explorer. Ford‘s Explorer Sport now boasts a 3.5L EcoBoost twin-turbo V6 engine that pumps out 365 horses at 5,500rpm. It also has added features from its predecessor making it a class-defining SUV.

    It’s just normal for car to use more gas when it has more horsepower. The Ford Explorer Sport is a nice looking car but check out the Volvo XC60 for comparison. Both of them have the same size and style, Ford has few more horses (365 HP) as opposed to 300 HP for the Volvo. The European finish and added safety features make Volvo more attractive, IMO

    365 HP? That’s the engine from the Taurus SHO! Damn, it’s got as much power as a base model Porsche 911… Would be pretty fun to play around with this SUV.
