DLS-CSB to offer online classes on Filipino sign language

De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, as shared on its Facebook page, is set to hold a series of online lessons on basic Filipino sign language for free.

Participants are encouraged to donate for the #SignsforSigns Fundraising campaign which aims to help deaf students who are stranded in their dormitories, indigent deaf scholars who need to return on their respective provinces after the enhanced community quarantine, FSL teachers who are currently on a “no work, no pay” scheme, and the FSL Access Team for COVID-19 who serves as interpreters in broadcast news programs.

Classes will start on May 30, 2020 at 4 PM via live streaming on DLS-CSB School of Deaf Education and Applied Studies.
